WHERE DO I BEGIN?
Welcome to our Motorhome Hire Help page. We have been asked for advice in the past so we created this Motorhome Hire Help page for all to see. Here are a few ideas that you may find helpful.
The freedom associated with motorhome holidays can lead some people feeling a little overwhelmed, but with that awesome tool, the internet at your fingertips planning your route soon takes on a life of its own.
- The Camping and Caravanning Club website is a great place to start. Click on “find a campsite”, enter your desired destination and you’re off and running. It’s very straight forward and the only info you need about our vehicles is that they are 6.9m long and 2.2m wide. We’d also recommend you tick the “electric hook up” option in “campsite basics”.
- We prefer viewing the search results in “map view”, this then opens up lots of options – other sites that may interest you along the way, places you may want to Search for; historic sites, places to eat, walks, cycle routes, activities for your family, etc.
- Having clicked on a campsite that interests you, all their information is yours to view – address, telephone number, email, facilities, and often, some useful reviews by other members.
- Contact the site and book it up. When calling, inform the site that you are “Privilege Pack” holders to qualify for members rates. On arrival at the site you just have to show them the key ring provided with your Motorhome.
As you will receive Free Membership to The Camping and Caravanning Club from us during your hire period you will also be eligible to stay at the “Members Only” campsites too.
THE JOURNEY IS PART OF THE HOLIDAY
Travelling to your destination can soon become part of your adventure. For example, a trip to visit the beautiful Lake District could include stays in Rutland, The Peak District and The Yorkshire Dales. And returning via Chester, Shropshire and the Cotswolds. But, as George Harrison said…. “if you don’t know where you are going, any road will take you there”.
The beauty of Motorhome hire is the flexibility it provides.
FIRST NIGHT STAYS
We can take care of your first night stay by booking you in to a campsite within 10 miles of our location should you want us to.
GOING FURTHER AFIELD
We are sure that with so many historic sites, hidden villages, thriving market towns and beautiful views you could happily explore the UK for the rest of your lives and still not see it all. But if you have seen it all or fancy something else then why not take your motorhome from home into Europe? We can easily arrange insurance and breakdown cover for your European Motorhome Hire Adventure.
If there is anything you can’t find or any questions you may have relating to Motorhome Hire, help is at hand. Please complete the form below or give us a call. We are here to help.
